College Readiness Workshop

Program Includes

In an effort to provide educational opportunities for high school students, the Circle City Classic is offering a college readiness workshops designed to eliminate barriers that prevent high school students from attending institutions of higher education.

Through collaborative efforts with sponsors and community partners, students are able to experience comprehensive workshops that include financial literacy (money management, budgeting, credit, etc.) financial aid information, college life and more. Additionally, all high school students and parents are welcome to attend the workshop free of charge.

Time:            10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m.
Location:    Arsenal Technical High School

Furthermore, the Circle City Classic will award up to $5,000 in scholarships during this workshop. To be eligible for the scholarship sweepstakes, students must be entering into their senior year of high school and must pre-register before the respective workshop deadline (Monday, September 7, 2009). Additionally, they must be present for the entire workshop and scholarship drawing. Participants are only eligible to receive one (1) scholarship in connection with their school year (April - November).
